Health resort Hahnenklee
Hahnenklee, lying on a sunny plateau at 600 - 726 meters height, is a health resort, with no passing traffic and a district of the historic and imperial city of Goslar (World Heritage of UNESCO).
The sights of Hahnenklee among others are the Nordic Staffchurch, built of wood, the grave site of the creator of "Berlin operetta" Paul Lincke, the cable car to the 726-meter high mountain Bocksberg and constructions of the Upper Harz Water Management System, a 16th to 19 Century up schemes to divert and store water (since 2010 a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
Around the resort you will find beautiful walking and hiking routes with spruce forests, meadows and ponds. Even the mountain “Bocksberg” offers many opportunities to be close to nature. Either you go by foot on it, for example by walking of the well-marked premium trail "Liebesbankweg" or by using comfortably the cable car to the top to see magnificent panoramic views to the Harz Mountains.

For adventurer, active vacationers: the Bike Park Hahnenklee, the Volksbank Arena (mountain bike trails in the Upper Harz), hiking paths around the Harz mountain.
For romantics: along the Liebesbankweg (premium hiking trail) a meticulously designed loop trail through woods, meadows and lakes.
For those interested in history: Nordic Staffchurch (in German: Stabkirche), Paul-Lincke-Monument (creator of the Berlin opera), constructions of the Upper Harz Water Management System, one in the 16th to the 19th century up schemes to divert and store water (since 2010 a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
For those seeking relaxation: the health resort park (by the Kranich-sea) with lovely green spaces and flat roads and the forest swimming lake at the Kuttelbacher lake.
For nature friends: our direct trail access to walk for example the Oberförster-Müller-way (Wheelchair friendly) with lots of information boards about the Harz, the Bocksberg mountain cable car (driving on the 726 m high Bocksberg mountain with fantastic views to the Harz Mountains).
For fans of winter sports: downhill skiing and snowboarding for all skill levels through four alpine slopes, two lifts and a training lift; Even cross country skiing is possible by two trails with 11 km in length and an exercise trail in the park; a natural ice rink pleasures the ice-skaters; the fully lighted 1.5 km long toboggan run in Hahnenklee provides further fun in the snow.
The restaurants in Hahnenklee are diverse and offer Asian, Italian and German food.
